Moin… My name is Mathias. I’m a full-time photographer from the northern German island Usedom. At my Instagram account you’ll primarily find landscape photos of the so called „Island of the Sun“ and detailed maritime photos including the baltic sea. Kameratechnik

Camera technology

Ich nutze für die Erstellung meiner Landschaftsfotos eine Nikon D750 sowie eine Nikon Z6 ( Vollformat ). Luftaufnahmen erstelle ich mit einer DJI Mavic Air 2. Für Video- und Zeitrafferaufnahmen greife ich gern auf die Go Pro Hero 9 und den DJI Osmo Pocket zurück. Fotos und Videos für die Storys in meinem Instagram Channel fotografiere ich vorwiegend mit dem iPhone 11 Pro.

To create my landscape photos I use a Nikon D750 as well as a Nikon Z6 (full format). Aerial shots I produce with a DJI Mavic AIR 2. For video recordings and time lapse shootings I revert to Go Pro Hero 9 and DJI Osmo Pocket. Videos and photos at Instagram stories I prefer to shoot with my I Phone 11 Pro.

Bildbearbeitung

Ich bearbeite meine RAW Fotos als erstes mit Adobe Lightroom ( Helligkeit, Kontrast, Schärfe, Color Grading ). Das Finish setze ich dann mit Adobe Photoshop CC. Videos bearbeite und schneide ich mit Adobe Premiere Pro. Hierzu nutze ich die Adobe Creative Cloud.

At first I edit my „Raw photos“ with „Adobe Lightroom“ (brightness, contrast, acuity, color grading). Afterwards I finish the procedure while using „Adobe Photoshop CC“. Videos I edit and cut using „Adobe Premiere Pro“. Meanwhile I make use of „Adobe Creative Cloud“.

About me:

Mein Name ist Mathias – ich bin 1988 in Schwedt / Oder geboren und lebe seit 2006 auf der Insel Usedom. Ich habe 2007 meine Ausbildung zum Einzelhandelskaufmann in einem Fotogeschäft abgeschlossen, anschließend im selben Unternehmen als Fotograf und Kundenbetreuer für Telekommunikation gearbeitet und mich 2018 selbstständig gemacht. Nun führe ich ein erfolgreiches Gewerbe als Hochzeitsfotograf ( usedomhochzeit.de ) sowie als Fotograf für Objektfotografie und Websiteerstellung ( fotograf-insel-usedom.de ).

My name is Mathias. I was born in Schwedt/Oder in 1988. I’ve been living on the island Usedom since 2006. In 2007 i successfully completed my education as a trained retail salesman in a photoshop. Subsequently I worked as a photographer and customer advisor for telecommunication for the same firm. In 2018 I’ve set up my own business. Since then I successfully pursue a trade as wedding and object photographer as well as website creator.
